We often have leftovers from the night before when we cook meat balls.  One of our favourite ways to use the leftovers is to warm them up in a fresh bread roll with tasty cheese melted over the top.  A really quick, easy and tasty way to jazz up the leftovers.  We have added the preparation time of the meat balls into the recipe but if using leftovers the entire meal is made in less than 5 minutes.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare meat balls or use leftover meat balls.
  2. Cut bread rolls in half length-wise.
  3. Add 3-4 meat balls per bread roll topping with sauce over the meat balls.
  4. Add generous helping of cheese to cover meat balls on each bread roll.
  5. Place meat balls on a baking tray and place in griller on medium heat until cheese is melted.  Serve.
