In this short animated talk we are taken through the science of meditation.

What we like

  • Many people are apprehensive about the act of meditation. What this video shows is you don’t need to be a monk to reap the physical benefits from this practice. So why not give it a go!

Soul experience

  • Imagine this. You are travelling through your mind you have a destination but you are not really sure of where it is. On the way you meet a range of people that seem to be competing for your attention. Bombarding you with questions and also sorts of conversations. You say to yourself I can’t listen to all of this and as you walk further the noise subsides and instead you are greeted by friendly people. People that want to help you along your way. They gently nudge to you, go for it, you can do it. They are happy for you. Suddenly a door opens and you enter into this beautiful setting of peace. All your senses are totally involved with what is there right now, nothing more, nothing less. As this happens you feel calm, you feel peace, you feel free. Then without knowing you are encompassed in a silence of beauty in which you seem part of a greater whole. Then you awaken to that which you always knew but had forgotten…

To reflect on

  • Meditation leads to decrease in anxiety and depression.
  • Meditation leads to increases in tolerance, memory, self-awareness and goal setting.
