Earth is a documentary movie which begins in the Arctic and during the course of a year takes the viewer on a journey through various landscapes and follows the journey of three particular species the Polar Bear, African Bush Elephant and the Humpback Whale. There is beautiful cinematography of the various landscapes which includes time lapse photography capturing the changing seasons and resulting scenery. Soul experience
- When you are out in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of your busy life, what is it that you see, hear and feel? We can get so lost in our own worlds of working and doing that we forget the world of nature and the beauty around us. It is when we reconnect with this natural world that we realise how important it is to us. That we are part of this world and what we do impacts on this world and then in turn again on us
To reflect on
- Narration: If we are going to go on sharing earth with such a rich variety of life and preserve its fragile balance for our own children. Now more than ever it is in our hands.
- Narration: But it’s not too late to make a difference.
