Can you feel it is a song performed by the Jacksons and written by Michael and Jackie Jackson. The song was released on the album Triumph and released as a single in 1981. It is now a Soul Music cult classic.

What we like

  • A classic song that unites through the beat with little effort
  • The music video conceived by Michael Jackson and featured special effects ahead of its time

Soul experience

  • What a gift to receive the world through the rainbow of colours.  Colour gives us a sense of richness, of variety, of uniqueness.  In the sky the sunrise or sunset with changing colours of the clouds and skyline.  In the ocean the multiple colours of tropical fish.  And yet when these different forms and colours in humans are seen it can cause segregation or alienation.  Is it possible to see the world through the eyes of changing colours of the sunset and see this beauty of all as giving variety and splendour to the world of humans? Can we lose the labels that binds us to misbeliefs and misunderstanding of our true natures?  What has separated us could unite us, simply through the beauty of appreciation

To reflect on

  • If you look around
The whole world’s coming together now
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!
