Mind Games was written and performed by John Lennon and is the title track to the album Mind Games.  It is Lennon’s fourth album and is the first self-produced album.  The album was released in the time that John Lennon and Yoko Ono separated for an 18 month period.

What we like

  • The melodic music captures the turning of what we see as the repetition of the mind. The music only breaks from this repetitious turning on certain break through words

Mind experience

  • Think about how many times you have the same thought.  Are you captured in your own melodic pattern?

To think about

  • We’re playing those mind games together
    Pushing the barriers planting seeds
  • Love is the answer and you know that for sure
Love is a flower you got to let it grow
