Adding mozzarella gives a slight variation on a simple meatball dish. The sauce can be lavished up with some fresh bread or place the sauce and meatballs on a bed of rice. We have heard stories of the smell of a good sauce wafting through the house being so tempting that the sauce can disappear before meal time!
Ingredients
- 1 onion – peeled, rinsed, diced finely
- 2 garlic cloves – peeled, rinsed, crushed

- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs

- 4 tablespoons olive oil – for frying
- 2 – 400g / 14 oz tins tomato – blended
Directions
- Prepare vegetables and cheese.
- In a large bowl add garlic, parsley, mozzarella, mince, breadcrumbs and egg mix well to combine with clean hands.
