We like these crisps to add to a variety of dishes in a meal. The crisps can be used for dips as well. Easy to prepare and quick to assemble the crisps combine wraps with olive oil, fresh rosemary and garlic. We have used spelt wraps which are thin, lavish would work well too.

Ingredients

  • 5 sheets flat bread – pictured spelt wraps – sliced into 2.5cm / 1in strips
  • 2-4 garlic cloves – peeled, rinsed, crushed
  • 4 sprigs rosemary – washed, remove leaves, leaves finely sliced
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

Directions

  1. Preheat fan-forced oven to 200C / 392F.
  2. Prepare garlic and rosemary and add to a small bowl with the oil.  Set aside.
  3. Prepare wraps and place in a flat dish.
  4. On a chopping board brush the oil mixture on both sides of the strips making sure to add a bit of garlic and rosemary to each strip.
  5. Make a ribbon by turning the strip in half.  Place on to a baking tray, you will need 2-3 trays. Repeat until complete.
  6. Add trays into the oven and bake for 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and place slices on serving dish.  Serve.
